WEEKEND RENTALS

All reservations made for a Saturday require a two day minimum rental as 88ECR offices are closed on Sunday.

DRIVERS LICENSE

A valid government-issued driver’s license will be required from all drivers at the time of rental. The license may not be expired, cracked, broken, or a temporary permit/license. International customers will be required to provide a passport as well as a drivers license and proof of insurance.

MINIMUM DRIVING AGE REQUIREMENT BELOW

All drivers must be 21+ years of age or older.

INSURANCE & PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS

All renters are required to provide proof of full coverage liability insurance. If you do not have verifiable full coverage insurance, we are able to sell you our insurance policy for a surcharge. We do accept credit card rental insurance which incurs a large security damage deposit. All renters must have a valid drivers license, valid credit card for security damage deposit, and verifiable auto insurance. For more information regarding Massachusetts requirements on full-coverage insurance, visit https://www.mass.gov/info-details/basics-of-auto-insurance. We will not accept credit card coverage as insurance. Credit card coverage is not primary and does not provide any liability coverage for the vehicle. We require liability coverage for ALL renters.

INTERNATIONAL RENTERS

International renters will be required to present a valid passport and drivers license, as well as verifiable proof of full coverage automobile insurance in the United States (US territories excluded) in order to rent a vehicle from us.

RENTAL PERIOD / LATE ARRIVALS

A 24 hour constitutes as a full rental day. You will have a 1 hour grace period to return the vehicle from the vehicle return time. Anything over 1 hour will be charged at $100/ hour. For example if you are set to return the vehicle at noon. You have until 1pm to return the vehicle with no charge anything over that will be charged at $100/ Hour.

MILEAGE

All daily rentals include between 75 to 200 miles travelled per day. Excess mileage will be billed at a minimum of $2 per mile up to $10.

ADDITIONAL DRIVERS

Additional Drivers may be added for a charge of $50 per day per driver. A valid driver’s license and proof of insurance will be required for each additional driver

CURRENCY

We accept all major credit cards. Prepaid credit cards are NOT credit cards and will require additional deposit and verification.) All payments must be in U.S. currency only.

CANCELLATION POLICY / DEPOSIT / INVOICE HOLDS

Daily rates are non-refundable. If reservation is booked with less than 24 hours notice, the invoice amount paid automatically becomes non-refundable. Please note that all vehicles are subject to a security deposit prior to the reservation. The purpose for this is lock in your date. Deposit ranges from $500 to $5,000 depending on the vehicle, drivers age, Insurance coverage, etc. The security deposit will be refunded after completing the rental as long as the vehicle comes back in the same condition it was brought to you in. This can take up to 2 weeks when paid on a credit card. All prospective renters have a maximum of 2 HOURS from the time of receiving an invoice via email to pay it in full. After this time, the reservation hold will be released and it will then become available to other customers.

HOME DELIVERY / PICK UP 

We are proud to offer home delivery and pick up services. We can deliver vehicles in a 25 mile radius at $100. Anything over 25 miles will be charged at $5/mile.

 SMOKING / CLEANING

Smoking or the use of electronic cigarettes is NOT allowed in any vehicle no exceptions. We impose a minimum $500 fine if any sign of smoking is detected including smoke odor, ashes, butts in ashtray, etc.

DEBIT / CHECK / PREPAID CARDS

Payment may be made by the following: Visa, Master Card, Amex and debit cards as a form of payment. Paying with cash will automatically include a 4% cash DISCOUNT. PLEASE CONTACT US PRIOR TO YOUR RENTAL FOR DEBIT/PREPAID CARD POLICIES. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN CANCELLATION OF YOUR RENTAL AND FORFEIT OF YOUR DEPOSIT.

CASH PAYMENTS

Cash payments are accepted. All renters must have a valid credit card to cover the rental rate, as well as the security deposit. Paying by cash will automatically give you a 4% discount of the total invoice.

CHECK PAYMENTS

Personal checks or handwritten checks are not accepted for any reason. School, government, or institution checks are accepted provided we receive the check a minimum of 14 days prior to the pickup date. We will STILL REQUIRE a credit card authorization to be placed on file – this is for incidentals only and WILL NOT be charged unless vehicle is returned with less fuel, damage, etc.

FUEL

Fuel level will be checked and confirmed at the time of rental. The customer is required to bring the vehicle back with the same amount of fuel as when rented out. Don't want to worry about fueling before returning? We have a $50-$150 pre paid fuel convenience fee depending on the vehicle.

GEOGRAPHIC RESTRICTIONS

Vehicles may travel throughout the United States as long as it is within the mileage given. Vehicles cannot travel to a different country. All vehicles are equipped with GPS tracking units and speed monitoring.

HOLIDAY HOURS

Pick up and drop off for holidays are available and may be arranged by contacting us in advance.

PETS

No pets are allowed in any vehicle unless crated. It is the renter’s responsibility to ensure that the vehicle is clean and odor-free and has no signs of pet hair, etc. Service animals are always allowed in our vehicles with proper documentation. A $150 cleanup fee will be assessed to any vehicle with any signs of pet transport.

OVERSTAYS

Extending rental vehicle days longer than originally scheduled, is generally not a problem provided the vehicle is not already reserved for another customer. Customer must sign a new rental agreement with extended dates and times in order to extend a rental.

YOUNG DRIVER FEE

Drivers under the age of 25 years old are charged an additional $150 per rental day.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

Once you have chosen your rental days, a reservation / security deposit will be required in order to book your dates. Once you have put in your deposit you have within 48 hours before pickup of your vehicle to pay the remaining amount due.

PICKUP / RETURN

All renters are required to pick up and return the vehicle directly to our Woburn location (vehicle delivery and pick-up must be prearranged a minimum of 72 hours prior to pickup)

EARLY RETURNS

Vehicles returning earlier than the scheduled time will not receive a refund as stated on the rental agreement.

TRAVEL TO CANADA / MEXICO

Vehicles may not travel to Canada, Mexico, or any other country.

RESERVATION HOLD TIME

Reservations are held for three hours from the provided pickup time or one hour from confirmed flight touch-down time. PLEASE provide your flight information when you book your vehicle. This will ensure that we know when you are arriving and to avoid having your reservation cancelled. We will attempt to contact you via email and/or phone. If we are unable to reach you in the three hour time or one hour after your confirmed touch-down, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and retain the reservation deposit

REFUSAL OF SERVICE

In the event that a customer displays what is deemed to be "aggressive" behavior by 88ECR (loud speech, abusive language, unreasonable request, violence, theft,etc.) 88 Exotic Car Rentals LLC reserves the right to cancel / terminate any scheduled or current rental at any time for the safety of its staff and property. 88ECR also reserves the right to randomly perform a background check on all renters which can affect the eligibility of the renter. In these cases, up to 50% of the paid invoice amount will held at a cost to the renter.

 REPRESENTATIONS, PERSONAL INFORMATION AND PRIVACY

88 Exotic Car Rentals takes customer privacy very seriously. It is 88s policy that customer contact information will not be shared with 3rd parties except as stated in our Privacy Statement found at www.88exoticrentals.com at the time of booking and rental, you agree that such privacy policy shall be incorporated by reference as a part of this agreement and that you have read such Privacy Policy.  You affirm and warrant that any representation or statement made to 88 Exotic Car Rentals in writing or verbally which would in any way induce 88 to enter or not enter into this agreement are true and that, should any such representations be found to be false or materially misleading, that you are hereby in violation of your rental agreement.
